The class was excited to share their storyboard biography reports and they all did a wonderful job. While one student presented their poster, another helped by holding it up. The students spoke about their favorite vacations, memorable birthday parties, their siblings' births and other important events.
With the Pope here in the US, it was important for the class to see him in action. We spent some time on Thursday and Friday live streaming and saw the Pope reflecting on 9/11. We also saw him during his visit to the Catholic school in Harlem.
In science, the class began an activity where they had to work together to solve a problem: our class supplies are kept in little basket, but they aren't good enough. Groups worked together to design and build new supplies holders using cereal boxes, cans, string, tape, construction paper scissors and glue. It's amazing to see what students can come up with when they put their minds together!
