We have been learning about adding two 2-digit numbers with regrouping. Can you explain what you do when you have more than 9 units in the ones place? Why!?!?!?!

What happens when there are more than 9 is that you carry it over to the tens place.

When there are 10 ones in the ones place you regroup and bring that ten to the tens place. 😅😊 ( I hope that was enough) ;)

Mistake it was if you have ten ones you regroup. You also put a 1 on top of the tens place😦😥😥😦😧

If there are more than 9 ones you have to trade a one for a ten.
